Never has social media played such an important role in providing us with information as to what is going on in the war torn area, with TikTok, Twitter and Youtube at the forefront of the disaster. To help make matters even more granular, Elon Musk has shipped a truckload of Starlink terminals to the Ukraine, to insure future internet connectivitity as local infrastructure crumbles. Viewing this war through the lens of social media gives us more info to chew on, and more propaganda to wade through. But hey, we’d rather do that than simply listen to approved stories by the agenda-driven news agences.
