Catherine “Cat” Miller is a nationally acclaimed publisher, spokesperson and consultant in the field of wellness and was the publisher of the Holistic Health Journal.  She is the founder of Passionate Living, a media company that inspires viewers to “fall in love with their lives.”

In our interview we look back on a few of her life’s adventures and explore just what she means by passionate living and how we may apply what she has gleaned on the topic to our lives.  

We had first met her about 15 years ago when she moved from New York to LA, in the transition from publishing a print publication, the Holistic Health Journal, to her Passionate Living multimedia career. After being out of contact since then, we finally catch up with her and see what’s up! 

Of immediate interest is her co-faciliation of an online workshop on the “Power of Sensuality,” about cultivating ‘sensual intelligence’ as a means of generating more passion, intimacy, and creativity in you life. Knowing her, believe it! Enjoy..

We really delve a little more deeply into the Martian Mythos in this report, beginning with our take on the new film, The Martian, with Matt Damon, who I thought did an exceptional job in pulling off the role. We look at some feeback from Geek friends on the film, regarding it’s scientific authenticity and such and then look at NASA’s latest announcement of when the actual Mars Mission for humans will take place. And then there is Mars One,sending humans to Mars as part of a reality TV show.  I hope their ratings stay high for the colonist’s sake! 

Also this week, we begin to look at how the new DNA editing tool, CRISPR/Cas 9, is making inroads in commercial circles, such as Dupont’s plans for creating new strains of drought-resistant crops.  Mrs. Future makes sure we recognize the Franken Furter aspect of this story while Dr. Future throws such cautionary tales to the wind, citing his latest theory about the multiverse!
