Future News and Views - ISS Mishap, The Autonomous Mayflower and the Kracken, MD Roundtable on current crises, Dr. Michael Arnold, Corrina McFarlane on Liminal Perception, Ryan Sarnataro on his Birthday

Thank goodness the ISS got straightened out after a potentially serious misfiring of Russian thruster nozzles Michael Arnold, M.D. L.Acand we can focus on other news, like the Awareness Foundation’s rountable discussion with fourteen high-profile doctors, all specialists in their own fields, coming  together to discuss the dangers that we all face from the Covid 19 pandemic. They discuss in detail the merits and the dangers posed by the vaccines and related mandates. Today’s show features an 11 minute excerpt from the Roundtable, with discussion following with Dr. Michael Arnold, M.D., following.
Also this week we have in the studio one of our community’s wise elders, Corrine McFarlane, who provides us with some tools for navigating these perilous waters of cultural anxiety.  My favorite is her download on Liminal Awareness, a creative flow state from which many solutions arise. Corrine’s husband, Ryan Sarnataro, also joins us with his wisdom and joy, as today is his birthday!

Interview - Pharmacist Ben Fuchs on What's Going on with this Health Crisis

Pharmacist Ben is mad as hell and not taking it any more. He’s tired of seeing our country serving the folks who bleed green, and sick of the medical paradigm where we willingly hand over the health of our bodies to outside authorities. On a higher note, he looks at how our education must take us more  into critical thinking, loving the pure magic of our living biological cells,  and keeping our immune system humming. Enjoy..

Future News - New Martian Flight record, Hubble explores Ganymede, Bebot on the Beach!

Listen Now to Future News with the Futures and Be Wilder 7.27.2021

Great news for our little Martian helicopter; it’s succeeded in flying more than a mile and is now the aerial scout for the mothership rover, Perseverance!  And with Hubble back online we will now continue to receive new info on the mysteries of space. This week Hubble data on Jupiter’s moon Ganymede, reveals how the Sun is melting the ice, from soooo far away (half a billion miles).

And for those of us who like clean beaches, there is now a new robot, a Roomba for sand, known as BeBot, which can do the work of 20-30 people in cleaing the beach!  That’s great, but gee, I wonder what else Bebot can do? We answer that question.. enjoy!

Billionaires in Outer Space, a good idea? Dr. Bruce Damer weighs in after the epic flight of Blue Origin and Jeff Bezos. Aliens in Inner Space? Open lines for that one..

Listen Now to Dr.Mrs. Future Show 7.20.20

This week, with the launch of Jeff Bezo’s Blue Origins spacecraft, our focus was on billionaires pioneering outer space as opposed to nation states footing the bill. Is this a positive direction for exploring the final frontier? Dr. Bruce Damer, who has sourced many NASA projects over the years, weighs in the topic, as do we and many of our callers.

There are two very different versions of outer space exploration these, one the more traditional rockets and spaceships, the other traveling via the ether of inner space. One caller thought we should take an idea of Art Bell’s playbook and have an ‘alien line,’ for aliens to call in to the show, assuming that many aliens are here, via the inner realms of consciousness.  A fun show that touches on many ways to think about exploring space.  Enjoy!

Interview - Annelise Schinzinger, author of The Art and Science of Caregiving: Stories of Inspiring Elders with an End-of-Life Guidebook

Listen now to Annelise Schinzinger

Broaching one of the more difficult issues of life, the death and dying of a loved one, Annelise shares with us her experiences and knowledge of being a caregiver to ones who are passing.  She speaks of what it means to be prepared for death, local gatherings where people discuss the topic with each other (death cafes), the phenomenon of ‘terminal lucidity’ where the dying suddenly become very aware in their final moments, near death experiences, the role of psychedelics in transition, the managment of pain, facing fears of the unknown, hospice at home, medically assisted dying, and finding a suitable caregiver.

She joined us in the studio, and we found her to be a very engaging and profound guest, striking a cord with many of our listeners. Enjoy.
