Future News - Asteroid Return Mission, Mars Volcanism, Dreamchaser Shuttle, Space Hotel, Dogtha, a Canine Group Mind <humor>, Dr. Stephen Sideroff on Optimal Health and Peak Performance

Listen Now to Future News 5.18.2021

It looks like we have more evidence of possible life on Mars, given recent findings regarding fairly recent (<50K years) volcanic activity on the red planet.  And to help get us more easily into space and back is a new spaceship, somewhat reminiscent of the venerable Shuttle, The Dreamchaser, by the Sierra Nevada Corporation. This week we also have a Dr.Mrs. Future comedy skit, about the use of Neuralink to create a group mind…with canines!

And for those of you looking forward to returning to normal and beyond after this last year, consider a free online seminar coming up, hosted by Dr. Stephen Sideroff, on optimal health, resilience, and peak performance, featuring insights from 11 master business consultants and CEOs.  We speak with the good doctor about his event. Enjoy!

Future News - Elon on SNL, Vandenberg Space Force, Virus Euro-report, Great Barrier Reef stories, Bioprinter breakthrough, Digital Sounds Design Classics, AI Sarcasm Detector

Listen Now to Dr.Mrs. Future Show 5.11.2021

No, it’s not just us that botched many elements of the pandemic, check out journalist Luc Sala’s Corona, Tipping Point & Fuckup, a chronicle of how this epic disaster unfolded in Holland, just published this week.

And we had quite few fun stories to discuss this week, including Elon Musk on SNL, a breakthrough with bioprinting body organs, Michael Olsen’s Great Barrier Reef near demise, a trip down memory lane on the story behind many familiar digital sounds, and the future of sounds in our cars, homes, and gadgets, with a focus on the work of Hans Zimmer and his work in feature film sound design. And now, with AI’s having a sarcasm detector, how long before they talk back to us regarding our requests? Enjoy.

Dr. Simone 'AU' updates us on the battle for our threatened freedoms, medically, legally, and informationally.

Listen Now to Dr. Simone AU May 1, 2021

As a founder of America’s Frontline Doctors, Dr. Simone speaks around the country to groups of people interested in what main stream media is not covering, the truth from both a doctor’s and lawyer’s perspective of what’s going on with the pandemic, like viral shedding and available treatment modalities besides vaccines, as well as the potential dangers of such ideas as vaccine passports, child masking, or censoring freedom of the press. She was in our ‘hood this last weekend and we were there..what she says may disturb you, but we feel you, our listeners, are smart enough to come to your own conclusions. Enjoy..

Future News - Starship SN15 preps for flight, Ingenuity ready for next mission, Hear the Venusian atmosphere, 50-foot Autonomous Trimaran boat to cross Atlantic, GPT-3 Speaks, the latest open source AI, AI and Nature, Terraforming Venus and Mars

Listen Now to Future News 5.04.2021

Do you want to hear something really scifi, but real? On today’s show we listen to Venus’s atmosphere, thanks to the passing Parker Probe, enroute to the Sun. Just wow!  And with any luck, Space-X’s Starship SN15 will take off this week, and hopefully land safely and not explode, like it’s three predecessors. Fingers crossed. And meanwhile on Mars, the Ingenuity helicopter had completed four successful flights, and after it’s fifth, it will have surpassed it’s basic proof-of-concept mission and will be ready for exploring new frontiers, like flying further, higher, and faster!  Another audio treat this week is an interview with the most advanced open source AI ever, GPT-3. Powerful interview, and we hope you see it as an opportunity rather than a surrender to our AI overlords of the near future.  Enjoy!
