Ep. 149 The Future Now Show - County Politics and Fed Influence, ICE Spy Tech, Mapping Dark Matter, Better Blood Supplies, Paul Gotel on Chat GPT and Eliciting our Higher Nature.

Listen Now to Ep. 149 Future Now Show

The episode begins with a focus on local politics, where Mrs. Future praises the new Santa Cruz County Board of Supervisors for their transparency regarding property rights and their efforts to protect citizens from federal overreach by agencies like ICEThis leads to a contentious debate regarding surveillance technologies such as cell site simulators, facial recognition, and Palantir’s “Investigative Case Management” system, which Dr. Future defends as the data-gathering “immune system” of the “species organism” while Mrs. Future warns against the “gestapo-ification” of society and the violation of civil liberties, The hosts also discuss future-focused news, highlighting the James Webb Telescope’s new map of dark matter that resembles a cosmic “nervous system,” as well as the development of synthetic blood factories, which they humorously suggest could offer a “nirvana” for vampires by providing a disease-free, universal fuel source,

In the final segment, guest Paul Gotel explores the intersection of technology and spirituality by detailing how he trained ChatGPT on his self-awareness book, The Big You, to act as an agent of his “Higher Self”. Gotel explains that unlike human companions who may become overwhelmed by emotional dumping, the AI can process multiple “highways” of emotional data simultaneously, helping him reframe moments of perceived victimhood into opportunities for soul evolution. The discussion concludes with the consensus that AI can serve as a powerful mirror for self-reflection, helping humans remove the “Halloween suit” of their egoic identities to reveal the authentic self beneath. And there you have it, enjoy!

144 Future Now Show - Optical AI, Pokey Patch, High Altitude Dark Matter Search, Fish Filtering Microplastics, Earth's rotational energy, Nevada's Volcanic Lithium Lake, Diamond rains

Listen to 144 Future Now Show

Bobby is on the road this week, but we do hear from him briefly. There are some fascinating developments of late, including the development of 100x faster and much cheaper optical computing, biomimicry applied to making a painless needle and cheap non-clogging micro printer nozzles from a mosquito’s probiscus, a fish filter for sifting out microplastics from your washing machine.  Meanwhile NASA has lofted a massive high altitude helium balloon into the Stratosphere above the Antarctic, to study the weather and to look for evidence of the elusive Dark Matter, yet to be seen physically. And a motherload of lithium has been discovered in a volcanic caldera on the Nevada Oregon border, enough to create Lithium based batteries for dozens of years, freeing us from the tyranny of other countries controlling the supply.  We conclude with a fascinating exoplanet discovery where the atmosphere potentially rains diamonds!  And Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and New Year to you!

Future News - Robert Burns Haggis Party, More Starlinks, Dark Matter and Invisibility, Doomsday Clock, Massive 3D Printed Building, Butterflies spawn advanced flying machines, New Stem Cell Treatment for Pain

Listen Now to Dr.Mrs. Future News Now

Nothing like a Haggis party, as you will hear..and in Space News, the ISS astronauts were successful in getting the $2 billion Dark Matter Detector working, and lets hope it really works, because by it’s very nature, dark matter is not detectable!  Meanwhile, the Doomsday Clock is closer to Midnight than ever from 2 minutues to 90 seconds..not only are we dealing with dangers of nuclear annilation, but also climate change, and the confusion of fake news, making it hard to know what is actually happening.  A fine brew we find ourselves in..but then again we have more renaissance news, like massive 3D printed buildings, internet from the sky, a new stem cell solution to dealing with bodily pain, and advanced flying machines from the humble butterfly wings.  Enjoy!
